Weaver's And Hollingsworth's Tires Cleared By Independent Lab

Clinton, TN (7-21-10) Officials of the Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series announced today that all tire samples taken during the July 16th and July 17th events at Boyd’s Speedway in Ringgold, Georgia and Cleveland Speedway in Cleveland, Tennessee have been cleared of any chemical alterations by an independent testing lab.

Samples from each winner’s tires were confiscated following each feature event. The winner's tires are usually confiscated following each event. Effective immediately all monies and points earned will be released to Randy Weaver and Ronny Lee Hollingsworth and both drivers are cleared to enter the next Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series event at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on July 31st, 2010.

The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series will continue to make every effort to eradicate the use of chemically altered tires. “The series is committed to doing our part to rid our sport of these very dangerous compounds” said Southern All Stars Series Director Brad Byrd.

The Southern All Stars Dirt Racing Series next event will be the 13th Annual Michael Head Jr. Memorial Race at Talladega Short Track in Eastaboga, Alabama on Saturday July 31st featuring a fifty-four lap, $5,400 to win main event for super late models.
